This afternoon: T & I have been invited to the Eno Family Garden Party at their Oxfordshire home.
22.43 A most enjoyable party with guests from a wide variety of backgrounds. Very entertaining, very interesting, very good company, great tasty things to place upon the tongue. Eno was on form: witty, lotsa fun & illuminating obiter dicta.
On the way home, we came across an accident in Chipping Norton. A policeman told T that she had better move -- there was a large upended tractor that was about to roll onto her car. We re-routed through dark country lanes never before visited by us (and possibly not by many others)
